Of course smile. I'm not sure what kind of informations you're looking for. In fact,  as you said, french system must be very similar to polish system, the only difference being the language (However  don't forget that, althought they are not pronounced the same way, many words are similar in french and english)
So i will give you a brief and a detailed answer.

I suppose you will come from Poland to Lille by plane or train ? By train, i suppose you will arrive at LILLE-EUROPE (it is the train station for international  departure)

The easiest way is to take the train  to go to Boulogne sur mer. We have only 1 national company in France, called SNCF :
http://www.sncf.fr/en_EN/flash/ (English version, but there is a deutsch version if "sie sprechen deutsch".).
From Lille to Boulogne, the train is called "TER" ("Train Express Régional"="fast regional train")
You cannot buy online ticket. you can find some automatic distributors in train station, but i believe they are all in french. So the easiest way is to ask to somebody in the train station at  the booking office. In Lille (big town), they should speak english.
To simplify, you can eventually print informations from TER website and give these informations at the booking office. They will give your  Ticket (eventually, "aller retour"="To go and return", punch this ticket and find your train. That's all (hem, don't forget to quit the train at boulogne sur mer lol ).
I believe the system to find your train is identical to Poland : Trains are very well identified on many screens in the train station  : departure-stop , hours, delay, platform number and eventually train number (this number is written on your ticket).

The first page is in French, but on the second one you can find an english version  <!-- s:? --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_confused.gif" alt=":?" title="Confus" /><!-- s:? -->

http://www.ter-sncf.com/english/index.asp?regID=01
(it seems unavailable today in english)  <!-- s:? --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_confused.gif" alt=":?" title="Confus" /><!-- s:? -->

Choose your date of departure (date de départ) , and the start ("LILLE-europe") and STOP ("Boulogne-Ville").
In french, an example for  May 31st, departure@12h 47 :

TER Lille europe-boulogne

In Lille, Calais or Boulogne, people can often understand English (and polish accent is easier to understand for french people than english accent  <!-- s;) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" title="Clin d'oeil" /><!-- s;) --> ).
So don't hesitate to ask for help, people are nice in France <!-- s;) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" title="Clin d'oeil" /><!-- s;) -->. If in addition, you say "bonjour, excusez moi" and "Merci", people will be happy !

################################## Brief answer **********************

1)Print informations thanks to TER website,
2) when you arrive at LILLE-EUROPE, give these informations at the booking office (they speak english)
3) identify your train on screens (platform number etc.)
4)punch your ticket and don't forget to quit the train @ boulogne-tintellerie or Boulogne-ville <!-- s;) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" title="Clin d'oeil" /><!-- s;) -->
